Guide verified 2026-07-16
What you can do today
Dungeoneering is under active development and is not available on the live worlds. There is no live tutor, Ring of Kinship setup, reward shop, or playable floor yet.
Use this guide as a release preview. Floors, rewards, interfaces, commands, and balance can change before launch, and no release date has been announced.
How it will work at release
Form the party
Enter solo or use the Ring of Kinship to create a party of up to five. The leader manages invitations and dungeon choices.
Choose the floor
The leader selects an unlocked floor, complexity, size, guide mode, and aimed difficulty that every party member can access.
Prepare inside
Surface equipment generally stays outside. Gather temporary supplies in the starting room and bring only approved bound items between runs.
Explore and solve
Clear guardians, find physical keys, open skill doors, solve puzzles, gather resources, and follow the dungeon route toward the boss.
Defeat the boss
Finish the floor by defeating its eligible boss, then use the exit to reach individual results for each party member.
Build progression
Earn Dungeoneering XP, tokens, and exact completed-floor marks. Reset progress at the right time to build prestige for later runs.
Floors and progression
Floors unlock in order. A floor's level requirement is two times the floor number minus one, so floor 60 requires level 119.
| Floor set | Floors | Dungeoneering levels |
|---|---|---|
| Frozen | 1-11 | 1-21 |
| Abandoned I | 12-17 | 23-33 |
| Furnished | 18-29 | 35-57 |
| Abandoned II | 30-35 | 59-69 |
| Occult | 36-47 | 71-93 |
| Warped | 48-60 | 95-119 |
Complexity and size
Complexities unlock sequentially. Complexity 1 teaches the combat loop, while later complexities add gathering, production, skill doors, challenge rooms, and the complete puzzle pool.
| Size | Maximum rooms | Planned access |
|---|---|---|
| Small | 16 | Solo or party, complexities 1-6 |
| Medium | 32 | Solo or party, complexity 6 |
| Large | 64 | At least 3 players, complexity 6 |
Items, death, and reconnecting
- Dungeon supplies are temporary and do not leave the floor.
- Approved bound items persist between floors as your Dungeoneering level grows.
- A dungeon death returns you to the starting room instead of ending the party's run.
- Reconnection and safe cleanup are part of the release contract, but final live behavior is still being validated.
XP, tokens, and prestige
Completion results are planned per player. Tokens will equal the final Dungeoneering XP divided by ten and rounded down.
Prestige uses exact completed-floor marks plus current and previous progress. Repeating a floor already marked complete will not substitute another unfinished floor.
